Accessibility Statement

This statement was created on 18 August 2026 using the W3C Accessibility Statement Generator Tool.

We at Bare Bones Dance Theater are working to make our site barebonesdt.wixsite.com accessible to people with disabilities.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Measures to Support Accessibility

Bare Bones Dance Theater takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of Bare Bones Dance Theater:

  • Include accessibility throughout our internal policies.

  • Integrate accessibility into our procurement practices.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Bare Bones Dance Theater is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Additional Accessibility Considerations

Although our goal is WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance, we have also applied some Level AAA Success Criteria: Many of our images are only used for decorative purposes.
